Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2025-085, which approves Case No. Z24-57, Smith Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 1.76 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 12, from B-3, General Business, to B-4, Major Commercial.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently Zoned B-3, General Business, and is located in Planning District 12, west of State Highway 59 and north of Dawson Road. The applicant is asking that it be rezoned to B-4, Major Commercial, for the future development of a car dealership.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their February 6, 2025, meeting and voted 6-0 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
