STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Award the bid for the Provision of Concrete Sidewalk Repair on County Right-of-Ways to the overall lowest bidder, L & K Construction, LLC, and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. Contract is effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for twelve (12) months.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on June 30, 2023, at 2:00 P.M. Two (2) bids were received. L & K Construction submitted the most advantageous bid pricing. The County most prevalent use of the items listed on the bid response is for sidewalk repair. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Concrete Sidewalk Repair on County Right-of-Ways to the overall lowest bidder, L & K Construction, LLC as per the Award Listing. Bid Tabulation is attached for review.
Previous Commission action/date:
06/06/2023 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Provision of Concrete Sidewalk Repair on County Right-of-Ways; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
