STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2025-019, which approves Case No. Z24-28, Childress Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 38 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 12, from RA, Rural Agricultural District and B-3, General Business District, to RSF-2, Residential Single-Family District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:   The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District and B-3, General Business District, and is located at the intersection of County Road 54 and County Road 55 in the Robertsdale area. The applicant is requesting to rezone 38 acres from RA and B-3 to RSF-2, Residential Single-Family District, for the purpose of single-family housing.

 

The Planning Commission recommended DENIAL at their October 3, 2024, meeting.
