Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-166, which approves Case No. PRD24-01, Sailor’s Landing, as it pertains to the Planned Residential Development (PRD) Site Plan approval.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agriculture District, and is located in Planning District 22 in the Elberta area.  The applicant is asking to rezone to RSF-2, Residential Single Family District, with the limitations and restrictions governed by a Planned Residential Development (PRD) Site Plan.  The applicant would like PRD approval to create a 226 unit residential development.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their August 1, 2024, meeting and voted 8-0 to recommend APPROVAL with conditions to the County Commission
