STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2025-167 amending the Fiscal Year 2025 Budget (Resolution #2024-159 and Resolution #2024-158, adopted on September 17, 2024) in order to reallocate funding.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Budget Director respectfully requests the reallocation of $69,602.00 from General Fund Building, Capital Outlay Improvements to General Fund Building, Repairs and Maintenance Building. In the FY 2025 Budget, $69,602.00 was carried forward from FY 2024 as an encumbrance for a purchase order related to Capital Outlay Improvements for various county roofing projects. Since the adoption of this budget, it has been determined that this encumbrance for roofing repairs should be classified as an operational expense rather than a capital expense.
