BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Background:  Staff received a letter dated June 8, 2026, from Ms. Kristina Pittman, Executive Director of North Baldwin Chamber of Commerce (NBCoC), requesting assistance with the 44th Annual Christmas Fest Event on December 11-12, 2026.

Wanda Gautney, Purchasing Director, has informed NBCoC that the contractor laydown area for the Courthouse renovation project will be on the northwest corner of the Courthouse, with the construction being on the west entrance door. There could be a construction dumpster set up on that side of Courthouse during the festival, but Wanda will ensure this area is roped off.
