STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Approve the promotion of Heather Hawthorne from the Operations Support Specialist II position (#5589) grade 307 ($22.69 per hour / $47,195.20 annually), in the Highway Traffic Operations Department (53135), to fill the vacant Operations Support Specialist III position (#3045) at a grade 309 ($24.51 per hour / $50,980.80 annually), in the Highway Administration Department (53100), to be effective no sooner than March 24, 2025.

Background:  The Operations Support Specialist III position was vacated in January 2025. The County Engineer respectfully requests that the above recommendation is approved.
