STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the voluntary demotion of Randy Black from the Area Maintenance Supervisor position (#283) grade S317 ($70,566.35 annually), in the Silverhill Highway Department (53112), to fill the Traffic Control Technician III (Stripe) position (#2093) at a grade 310 ($32.22 per hour / $67,017.60 annually), in the Traffic Operations Department (53135), to be effective no sooner than April 21, 2025; and
2) Remove Randy Black from the Take Home Vehicle List.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Traffic Control Technician III position was vacated by the resignation of the previous employee. The Assistant County Engineer respectfully requests that the above recommendation is approved.
