Resolution #2025-055 - Amendment #1 to Subrecipient Agreement with Town of Silverhill for ARPA-Funded Water Tower Project

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Adopt Resolution #2025-055 of the Baldwin County Commission approving Amendment #1 to the Subrecipient Agreement with the Town of Silverhill for the ARPA-funded Water Tower Project; and

 

2) Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute Amendment #1 to the Subrecipient Agreement with the Town of Silverhill.

The period of performance for this Agreement shall begin on the date of execution of the Agreement by both parties and shall end upon the completion of the project or on February 28, 2026.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

Background:  The Subrecipient Agreement approved on June 6, 2023, reflects a period of performance that terminates at 11:59 p.m. on February 28, 2025.  This First Amendment to the Subrecipient Agreement extends the period of performance to 11:59 p.m. on February 28, 2026, to allow for completion of the water infrastructure project and grant closeout. 

Previous Commission action/date: A summary of previous Commission ARPA action is attached.

 

June 6, 2023 - BCC adopted Resolution #2023-131 allocating up to $1,000,000.00 of ARPA funds to the Town of Silverhill for a Water Tower Project; and authorized the Chairman to execute the Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the Town of Silverhill, contingent on acceptance and execution by the municipality.

Total cost of recommendation:  No additional funds needed.
