STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve the Contract with Urban SDK, Inc., for AI traffic data software in the amount of $85,000.00 and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract.
This Contract shall be effective October 6, 2026, pending full execution by both parties, and terminate October 6, 2027, with an automatic renewal in one (1) year increments, unless terminated by either party with a 30-day written notice prior to the contract renewal.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Highway Department staff is requesting the Commission approve a contract with Urban SDK, Inc., to provide AI traffic data software. This data will increase efficiency in daily operations, planning, and engineering studies.
The software and related services will be purchased through Vertosoft via the Sourcewell National Purchasing Contract. Funding was approved in the FY 2027 Budget for the purchase of AI traffic data software. The payment of $85,000.00 will be processed upon approval of contract with Urban SDK, Inc.
Previous Commission action/date:
September 15, 2026 - Adopted Resolution #2026-140 of the Baldwin County Commission which approves the Baldwin County Fiscal Year 2027 Budget.
