STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the promotion of D. Kaylan Driskell from the Engineering Technician I position (#5765) grade 310 ($25.50 per hour / $53,040.00 annually) to fill the open Engineering Technician II position (#1072) at a grade 311 ($27.54 per hour / $57,283.20 annually); and
2) Approve the employment of Michael Sharp to fill the Project Coordinator (PZ) position (#5380) at a grade S317 ($95,056.00 annually), with said salary due to experience; and
3) Approve the employment of Barrett Guy to fill the Engineering Technician I position (#5765) grade 310 ($23.50 per hour / $48,880.00 annually) , with said salary due to experience.
These actions shall be effective no sooner than April 7, 2025.

Background: The Project Coordinator (PZ) and Engineering Technician I and II positions were vacated due to the promotion / resignation of the previous employees. The Planning and Zoning Director respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
