Recommendation
Approve the request from The Medical Society of Mobile County for the use of Scenic Highway 98 and County Road 1 for its 21st Annual Tour de L.A.D.R. (Lower Alabama Doctors) Bike Ride on Saturday, April 11, 2026, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 10:00 a.m.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Medical Society of Mobile County has requested the County Commission approve the use of the specified County roads for the bike ride (see attached request.)
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office will provide security for the event. Fairhope Police Department has provided a letter of approval for the event.
Previous Commission action/date: February 4, 2025 - Approved the 20th Annual Tour de L.A.D.R. (Lower Alabama Doctors) Bike Ride.
