STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve the request from the Krewe of Mullet Mates for the use of County Road 1 for its 26th Annual Mardi Gras Parade on Saturday, February 14, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m.
This approval is contingent upon the event coordinator providing a Certificate of Liability Insurance prior to the event taking place, per County Policy #9.15.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Krewe of Mullet Mates (KOMM) has requested the County Commission approve the use of County Road 1 for the parade (see attached request).
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office will provide security for the event and Fairhope Boy Scouts Troop #47 will provide clean up after the parade.
