BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District and B-3, General Business District and is located in Planning District 12 in the Robertsdale area. The applicant is asking to rezone to RSF-2, Residential Single-Family District, with the limitations and restrictions governed by a Planned Residential Development (PRD) Site Plan. The applicant would like PRD approval to create a 445-site residential development.
The Planning Commission considered this request at their October 3, 2024, meeting and voted 9-0 to recommend DENIAL to the County Commission.
