STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Authorize the renewal of the Crime Bond issued from Travelers and payable to John A. Robertson Insurance Agency at a premium of $6,803.00 yearly for three years. The Period of coverage is December 31, 2025, through December 31, 2028; and
2) Authorize the Chairman to sign all documents required for the Crime Bond; and
3) Authorize the Clerk/Treasurer to make an interim payment before December 31, 2025, to John A. Robertson Insurance Agency in the amount of $6,803.00.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The crime bond policy that the Commission currently has with John A. Robertson Insurance Agency will expire on December 31, 2025.
Crime Policy per quote:
1) Forgery and Alterations
a) Deductible $25,000.00
2) Money and Securities on Premises
a) Deductible $5,000.00
3) Money and Securities off Premises
a) Deductible $5,000.00
4) Computer Fraud
a) Deductible $25,000.00
5) Funds Transfer Fraud
a) Deductible $25,000.00
The Crime Bond Policy covers all Baldwin County employees with coverage amounts and deductibles listed above.
Previous Commission action/date: 12/20/2022 - Renewed Crime Bond Policy with an annual premium of $7,103 for three years.
