BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on February 27, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. Ferguson Waterworks did not include a bid guarantee with their response; therefore, their bid does not meet the required specifications. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for Provision of Roadway Pipe to the lowest responsible bidders, Alabama Pipe & Supply Company, Inc., and Evans and Company, Inc., for each category as per the Award Listings.
