STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2027-021 and authorize the Chairman to execute Supplemental Agreement No. 1 between the Baldwin County Commission and the Alabama Department of Transportation amending the project description and State Industrial Access funds for transportation improvements on State Route 287 to benefit the Novelis Manufacturing Facility.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Supplemental Agreement will amend the project description and adjust the State Industrial Access funds from $925,500.00 to $1,538,907.32 for transportation improvements on State Route 287 at the Novelis north employee entrance. All other terms of the Construction Funding Agreement shall remain the same.
Previous Commission action/date: April 18, 2023 - Adopted Resolution #2023-101 and authorized the Chairman to execute an agreement between the BCC and ALDOT to provide State Industrial Access funding in the amount of $925,500.00 to assist with construction of a new right hand turn lane, traffic signal and employee access entrance along State Route 287 to benefit the Novelis Manufacturing Project.
