STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2025-091 authorizing the transfer of ownership, maintenance, and responsibility for certain unopened/unnamed rights-of-ways east of the Foley Beach Express and north of U.S. Route 98 to City of Foley.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The City of Foley has requested the conveyance of several County owned rights-of-ways east of the Foley Beach Express and north of U.S. Route 98. The rights-of-ways are currently unimproved and not maintained by the Baldwin County Highway Department. The City of Foley will accept ownership and annex the rights-of-ways into their corporate limits upon execution of this resolution.
