STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve the requested route (use of County Roads 3, 13 and 24) for the 6th Annual Barnwell Community Day 5K Spud Run to be held on Saturday, November 14, 2026, beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at approximately 10:00 a.m.
This approval is contingent upon the event coordinator providing a Certificate of Liability Insurance that meets county requirements prior to the event taking place.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Certificate of Liability Insurance forthcoming. Staff received a request on September 8, 2026, from Veronica Bishop for the use of County Roads 3,13 and 24 for the 6th Annual Barnwell Community Spud Run to be held on November 14, 2026, beginning at the Barnwell Community Center located at 13319 County Road 3, Fairhope, Alabama.
The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office will provide security for this event.
