STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the list of County equipment and vehicles for sale by auction (Exhibit A) at the J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., facility in Montgomery, Alabama, on March 17-21, 2026.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The March Auction Gross Guarantee for County equipment and vehicles is $3,365,900.00. Per the current contract, there will be a 6% commission deducted from the proceeds.
Previous Commission action/date: December 2, 2025 - The Commission approved the Auction Sales Agreement between J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., and the Baldwin County Commission, applicable to all departments of the Commission, effective January 1, 2026, to January 1, 2027, with an automatic renewal for an additional two (2) years, in one (1) year increments.
