Parks Department - Position Changes

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions: 

1) Reclassify and retitle the Parks Director position (#1047), grade S317 ($62,192.00 - $101,857.60 annually) to Director of Parks and Recreation at a grade S318 ($65,897.00 - $107,982.00 annually); and

2) Retitle the Parks Supervisor position (#269) to Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation; and

3) Approve the organizational chart for the Parks Department; and

4) Approve the position descriptions for the Director of Parks and Recreation and Deputy Director of Parks and Recreation.

These actions shall be effective no sooner than July 1, 2025.
