BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The attached Addendum No. 1 for Competitive Bid #WG23-46 - Upgrades for the Elevator Recall System in the Baldwin County Corrections Center located in Bay Minette, Alabama is for one (1) change. During the Pre-Bid meeting held on July 12, 2023, the vendors that attended requested additional time to schedule a walkthrough of the job site for the varies subcontractors that they need to work with to prepare a competitive bid price. The change will extend the bid opening date from July 20, 2023, to July 28, 2023. The Commission approved at their regularly held meeting on June 20, 2023, for the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid was advertised and to bring the approved addendum to the next meeting following the date of the addendum to become part of the official record of the Baldwin County Commission. The Chairman approved Addendum No. 1 on July 12, 2023. N/A
