STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the purchase of four (4) or more 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 4WD Crew Cab Pick-up Trucks or equivalent for the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office; and
2) Further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Baldwin County Commission approved FY2024 Budget to purchase vehicles for the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office. The Honorable Huey "Hoss" Mack, Baldwin County Sheriff, has requested a competitive bid be placed for four (4) or more 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 4WD Crew Cab Pick-up Trucks or equivalent. Staff recommends the Commission approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the purchase of four (4) or more new vehicles.
