STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Award Bid #WG25-04 to the lowest bidders for each location for the Provision of Janitorial Services per the Award Listing; and
2) Reject the bids received on the Baldwin County Revenue Commission Reappraisal Building, located in Robertsdale; and
3) Approve the specifications for the Provision of Janitorial Services for the Baldwin County Revenue Commission Reappraisal Building and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid and authorize the Chairman / Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on December 17, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. Four (4) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for Provision of Janitorial Services to the lowest bidders for each location as per the Award Listing and reject the bids received on the Baldwin County Revenue Commission Reappraisal Building, located in Robertsdale, and authorize the Purchasing Director to re-bid that section for the janitorial services.
On December 13, 2024, Revenue Commissioner Teddy Faust requested cleaning to include the whole Reappraisal Building, located in Robertsdale, which changed the square footage from 2,000 to 7,583. Bid Tabulation attached for review.
