Award Bid #WG26-18 for the purchase and installation of one (1) new boiler for the Baldwin County Courthouse located in Bay Minette, Alabama, to the lowest bidder, JLS International, Inc., per the Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the contract.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on March 17, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Six (6) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the purchase and installation of one (1) new boiler for the Baldwin County Courthouse located in Bay Minette, Alabama to the lowest bidder, JLS International, Inc., per the Award Listing. Bid Tabulation is attached for review.
Funding for this project is being provided in Resolution #2026-068.
Previous Commission action/date: 02/19/2026 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the purchase and installation of one (1) new boiler for the Baldwin County Courthouse located in Bay Minette, Alabama; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
