STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-132 authorizing the transfer of ownership, maintenance, and responsibility for Parker Lane to City of Daphne.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Parker Lane is bounded on both sides by the corporate limits of the City of Daphne as a result of annexation of territory after July 7, 1995, or located within the City of Daphne but responsibility is vested in the County.

 

The City of Daphne desires to assume responsibility for Parker Lane to facilitate the orderly development and maintenance of road and its corporate limits.
