Authorize staff to begin negotiations with Gresham Smith so that a final recommendation for award can be made to the Baldwin County Commission for the Engineering Services for the County Road 13 and Corte Road Intersection Improvement Project.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The RFQ for Engineering Services for the County Road 13 and Corte Road Intersection Improvement Project were received in the Purchasing Conference Room on November 20, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. Eight (8) firms submitted a packet. The evaluation committee consisted of Jeanette Brown, Stacy Appleton, John Sedlack, Ashlie Rickard, Alfreda “Weesie” Jeffords, and Chris Bradley. After reviewing the eight (8) submittals, the evaluation committee scored Gresham Smith the highest and feels that Gresham Smith meets the requirements for the project. Staff recommends the Baldwin County Commission approve the request to begin negotiations with Gresham Smith so that a final recommendation for the award can be made to the Baldwin County Commission regarding the selection.
