BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on August 20, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. Three (3) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the purchase of one (1) TruNarc Delta Portable Handheld Analyzer using Raman Spectroscopy or Equivalent to the lowest bidder, Thermo Scientific Portable Analytical Instruments, Inc., for option 2 which includes a two-year warranty per the Award Listing. This purchase will be funded with federal Stone Garden Grant monies managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
