STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Fiscal Year 2026 Resurfacing Projects as design plans and specifications are completed.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Highway Department has identified the attached list of roads for the FY 2026 Resurfacing Plan. They will be grouped and advertised for bids as plans and specifications are completed. The Commission approved $10,000,000.00 for resurfacing roads in the FY 2026 Budget.  

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

September 16, 2025 - Adopted Resolution #2025-171 which adopts the Baldwin County FY 2025-2026 Budget.
