STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Anthony Lowery, Baldwin County Sheriff, will present Commendation Awards to seven (7) Deputies for their work on various cases showing exemplary service which reflects the highest standards as a deputy of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Deputies Trace Busby, Zach Ellis, Landon Pickett, Zac Johns, and Charles Best will be presented with a Commendation Award for their work and actions taken on June 6, 2026, involving the breaking and entering of a motor vehicle case.
Deputy Cody Plato will be presented with a Commendation Award for his work and actions taken on July 23, 2026, in Fort Morgan for his outstanding performance during multiple water rescue incidents.
Deputy Jarrett Allen will be presented with a Commendation Award for his work, initiative, and attention to detail during a case in December 2025 and January 2026 involving a violent crime against a child.
