STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Purchase and Installation of One (1) New 96 kW Natural Gas Generator with 400 AMP Automatic Transfer Switch for the Baldwin County Foley Satellite Courthouse located in Foley, Alabama; and
2) Further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Commission adopted the FY 2026 Budget which included funds for the purchase of a new generator for the Baldwin County Foley Satellite Courthouse. The Director of Facilities and Maintenance is requesting a competitive bid be placed for purchase and installation of one (1) new 96 kW Natural Gas Generator with 400 AMP Automatic Transfer Switch for the Baldwin County Foley Satellite Courthouse located in Foley, Alabama. Staff recommends the Commission approve the specifications and authorize the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid.
