STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Award Bid #WG24-43 for the Provision of Painting and Drywall Services to the lowest bidder, Spanish Fort Painting & Construction, LLC, per the Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract.  The Contract shall be effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for a period of twelve (12) months with the option to renew for two (2) twelve (12) month contracts.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on August 21, 2024, at 2:00 P.M.  Two (2) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Painting and Drywall Services to the lowest bidder, Spanish Fort Painting & Construction, LLC, as per the Award Listing.  Bid Tabulation attached for review.
