STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

1) Approve the promotion of Don Milliron from the Operator Technician I position (#5687) grade 308 ($20.08 per hour / $41,766.40 annually) to fill the vacant Operator Technician II position (#5385) grade 309 ($21.69 per hour / $45,115.20 annually) to be effective no sooner than June 29, 2026; and

2) Approve the promotion of Joseph Fleming from Traffic Control Technician II position (#503) grade 309 ($20.04 per hour / $41,683.20 annually) to fill the vacant Traffic Control Technician III position (#393) grade 310 ($21.64 per hour / $45,011.20 annually) to be effective no sooner than June 29, 2026; and

3) Approve the employment of Alan Usry to fill the vacant Traffic Control Technician II position (#503) grade 309 ($21.04 per hour / $43,763.20 annually) to be effective no sooner than June 22, 2026; and

4) Approve the employment of Cleveland Harris to fill the vacant Traffic Control Technician II position (#5172) grade 309 ($20.04 per hour / $41,683.20 annually) to be effective no sooner than June 22, 2026.

Background:  The Traffic Operation positions were vacated due to the promotion/resignation of the previous employees. The Assistant County Engineer respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
