STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Take the following actions:

 

1) Authorize the transfer of the following vehicle from the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office to the Baldwin County Commission and authorize the Chairman to execute the Fixed Asset Change Form:

 

2005 Ford Crown Victoria - VIN 2FAHP71W95X134451

 

2) Authorize the sale of the vehicle as scrap metal to Atmore Recycling and the revenue be deposited into the Baldwin County Commission’s General Fund.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office currently has one (1) vehicle that is no longer in service and has been sitting at the training facility in Stapleton for an extended period. The Sheriff’s Office would like to sell this vehicle as scrap metal to Atmore Recycling.

 

Previous Commission action/date:  N/A

Total cost of recommendation:  Revenue from the sale of this vehicle will be deposited into the Baldwin County Commission General Fund.
