STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-164, which approves Case No. Z24-29, McCraney Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 59 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 22, from RA, Rural Agriculture, to RSF-2, Residential Single Family District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agriculture, and is located in Planning District 22 on the east side of County Rd 83, just north of the Town of Elberta.  The applicant is asking for RSF-2, Residential Single Family, for a proposed Planned Residential Development (PRD).

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their August 1, 2024, meeting and voted 6-2 to recommend Denial to the County Commission.
