STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Award Bid #WG24-42 for the Provision of HVAC Chiller Annual Preventative Maintenance Services for the Baldwin County Commission to the lowest bidder, Star Service, Inc. of Mobile, as per the Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. The Contract shall be effective immediately upon the same date as its full execution for a period of twelve (12) months with an option to extend for two (2) additional twelve (12) month terms.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on August 21, 2024, at 1:30 P.M. Four (4) bids were received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of HVAC Chiller Annual Preventative Maintenance Services to the lowest bidder, Star Service, Inc. of Mobile, as per the Award Listing. Bid Tabulation is attached for review.
