BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on June 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Three (3) bids were received. The lowest bid was received from Black Diamond Construction, LLC, in the bid amount of $154,694.00. Frank Lundy, County Engineer, has reviewed the bid responses and has submitted the certified Bid Tabulation and a letter recommending that the bid be awarded to the lowest bidder, Black Diamond Construction, LLC. Bid Tabulation attached for review.
Previous Commission action/date:
03/21/2023 meeting: 1) Approved the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Bay Shore Drive Bridge Removal Project; and 2) Approved the Chairman to execute any project related documents.
