Recommendation
Adopt Resolution #2026-047, amending the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget (Resolution #2025-170 and Resolution #2025-171, adopted on September 16, 2025) in order to reallocate various funds.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: For consideration on the January 20, 2026, meeting, is the employee promotion to the Community Relations / Public Information Manager position from the Community Engagement Coordinator position (See File ID 26-0390). If approved, staff respectfully requests the transfer of various budgeted personnel related costs totaling $59,995.00 from Emergency Management (10052300) to Community Relations (10057100), and the use of Contingency Reserves (10051105.52901) in the amount of $4,680.00 to be allocated to various Community Relations personnel accounts to cover the funding shortfall for said promotion.
