STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-096 authorizing the transfer of ownership, maintenance, and responsibility for portions of NW 1st Street, SW 1st Street, County Road 71 S, E Broadway Avenue and W Broadway Avenue to Town of Summerdale.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Baldwin County Commission funded the resurfacing of portions of NW 1st Street, SW 1st Street, County Road 71 S, E Broadway Avenue and W Broadway Avenue in the Fiscal Year 2023 Budget. The Town of Summerdale has agreed to accept responsibility for these portions of roads upon completion of the resurfacing project.
