Recommendation
Authorize the Chairman to execute a Quitclaim Deed conveying any and all right and title to that portion of right-of-way owned by Baldwin County on Blueberry Lane (from Gayfer Road Extension to the north approximately 1,630 feet) to the City of Fairhope.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The City of Fairhope requested assistance with road improvements on Blueberry Lane due to growth in the area. In July 2022, an Intergovernmental Service Agreement was approved to widen and resurface Blueberry Lane from Gayfer Road Extension to the north approximately 1,630 feet to an eighteen (18) foot wide two-lane paved road. The Highway Department has completed the work on Blueberry Lane. A Quitclaim Deed will convey this portion to the City of Fairhope.
Previous Commission action/date:
July 19, 2022 - The Commission approved an Intergovernmental Service Agreement between the Baldwin County Commission and the City of Fairhope to widen and resurface Blueberry Lane from Gayfer Road Extension to the north approximately 1,630 feet to an eighteen (18) foot wide two-lane paved road. The City of Fairhope will assume responsibility for maintenance after the project is constructed.
