STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve the Chairman to execute the Fiscal Year 2024 County Rebuild Alabama Contractor Report for awarded projects funded with County Rebuild Alabama Funds.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Governor Kay Ivey signed the Rebuild Alabama Act #2019-2 into law on March 12, 2019. This Act amends the Code of Alabama 1975 and will be used for transportation infrastructure improvement, preservation and maintenance projects pursuant to the provisions of the Act. The Alabama State Act levies an additional 10¢ excise tax on gasoline and diesel fuel implemented over a three-year period.
Counties shall adopt an annual County Transportation Plan (CTP) no later than August 31st for the next fiscal year.
The County Rebuild Alabama Contractor Report provides a detailed report of all contractors awarded projects funded with County Rebuild Alabama Funds. This report is due annually on October 1st.
Previous Commission action/date:
August 15, 2023 - The Commission adopted the Rebuild Alabama - Baldwin County FY 24 County Transportation Plan which included the following projects:
County Road 1 - Resurface from U.S. Highway 98 to End of Maintenance
U.S. Highway 98 - Resurface from County Road 1 to Greeno Road
County Road 99 - Resurface from Carrier Drive to U.S. Highway 98
Sherman Road - Bridge Replacement over Weeks Branch; and approved the display of the County Transportation Plan in conspicuous places at the Baldwin County Courthouses, Baldwin County Commission offices, Baldwin County Highway Department, Baldwin County website and other places deemed appropriate by the Baldwin County Commission.
