BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on June 12, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. One (1) bid was received. Staff recommends the Commission award the bid for the Provision of Bituminous Adhesive to Gulf Material Sales, LLC, as per the Award Lising.
Previous Commission action/date:
05/20/2025 meeting: Authorized the Purchasing Director to re-bid the Provision of Bituminous Adhesive and further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
04/15/2025 meeting: 1) Awarded Bid #WG25-21 for the Provision of Pavement Markers and Bituminous Adhesive to Ennis-Flint, Inc., and Safety Zone Holdings, Inc., d/b/a Safety Zone Specialists, per the Award Listings (Pavement Markers only); and 2) Authorized the Purchasing Director to re-bid the section on Bituminous Adhesive and further, authorize the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
