BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Staff has verified all sales tax requirements have been satisfied, the proposed use is allowed, and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office does not oppose the issuance of the license.
The ABC Board issues three different types of consumable hemp products retailer licenses:
(1) Specialty Retailer of Consumable Hemp Products License
(2) Pharmacy Consumable Hemp Products License
(3) Retail Food Store Consumable Hemp Products License
Previous Commission action/date: March 17, 2026 - The County Commission adopted Policy 2.27 - Consumable Hemp Products License Applications (see attached).
