STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Recommendation

Adopt Resolution #2024-105, which approves Case No. Z24-06, Smith Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 38 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 21, from RA, Rural Agricultural District, to RSF-E, Residential Single Family Estate District.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The subject property is currently zoned RA, Rural Agricultural District, and is located north of County Road 26 and west of Poser Road in Foley. The applicant is requesting to rezone 38 acres from RA, Rural Agricultural District to RSF-E, Residential Single Family Estate District, for the purpose of single-family housing.

 

The Planning Commission considered this request at their April 4, 2024, meeting and voted 9-0 to recommend APPROVAL to the County Commission.
