STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the transfer of Rebekah Holt from the Probate Customer Service Specialist I position (#384) grade 306 ($20.58 per hour / $42,806.40 annually), to fill the open License Revenue Officer II position (#992) at a grade 307 ($20.58 per hour / $42,806.40 annually); and
2) Approve the promotion of Tamatha Edmond from the License Revenue Officer I position (#2092) grade 306 ($18.98 per hour / $39,482.35 annually), to fill the open License Revenue Officer II position (#460) at a grade 307 ($20.50 per hour / $42,640.00 annually); and
3) Approve the employment of Melissa Sharp to fill the open Probate Court Administrator I position (#469) at a grade 308 ($17.74 per hour / $36,899.20 annually).
These changes shall be effective no sooner than August 12, 2024.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The License Revenue Officer I and II positions were vacated by the retirement/promotion of the previous employees. Additionally, Rebekah Holt was promoted to License Revenue Officer II in July 2023 then subsequently reclassified to a lower pay grade in October 2023 due to the restructure of the Probate positions. As a result, she did not lose her promotional pay during that transition. Since she received her promotional increase in July 2023, we are asking that her pay remain the same as she transitions back into her old position. The Probate Judge respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
