STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Award Bid #WG25-33 for the Purchase and Installation of Inmate Property Storage Conveyor System to the lowest bidder, SRS Conveyors, LLC, as per the Award Listing and authorize the Chairman to execute the Contract. (Contract is effective for ninety (90) days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.)

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: Bids were opened in the Purchasing Conference Room on July 18, 2025, at 1:30 P.M. Two (2) bids were received. The Sheriff’s Office will reimburse the Commission for the purchase of this equipment from their Discretionary Fund. Staff recommendation is to award the bid for the Purchase and Installation of Inmate Property Storage Conveyor System to the lowest bidder, SRS Conveyors LLC, as per the Award Listing. Previous Commission action/date:
06/24/2025 meeting: 1) Approved the specifications and authorized the Purchasing Director to place a competitive bid for the Purchase and Installation of Inmate Property Storage Conveyor System for the Baldwin County Corrections Center; and 2) Further, authorized the Chairman/Purchasing Division Commissioner for the Baldwin County Commission to approve any necessary addendums or clarifications if required after the bid is advertised.
