STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Take the following actions:
1) Approve the lateral transfer of Toni Ogden from the part-time Bus Driver position (#30) grade 305 ($17.33 per hour / $26,133.64 annually) to fill the vacant full-time Bus Driver position (#323) grade 305 ($17.33 per hour / $36,046.40 annually); and
2) Approve the employment of Tye Jordan to fill the Assistant Director of Transportation position (#5597) at a grade S319 ($71,975.00 annually); and
3) Approve the employment of Lashawnda Horace to fill the full-time Bus Driver position (#5544) at a grade 305 ($17.07 per hour / $35,505.60 annually).
These actions shall be effective no sooner than March 23, 2026.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The Bus Driver position was vacated due to the resignation of the previous employee, and the Assistant Director of Transportation position was vacated by the transfer of the previous employee. The Director of Transportation respectfully requests that the above recommendations are approved.
