Recommendation

Approve the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Engineering / Environmental Services for the County Road 65 Corridor Extension Project - Paul Cleverdon Road Section and authorize the Purchasing Director to advertise the RFQ.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION

 

Background:  The Highway Department is requesting that the Commission approve the attached solicitation for professional services for the engineering / environmental services for County Road 65 Corridor Extension Project - Paul Cleverdon Road Section.  The CR-65 Corridor Extension Project is to extend the CR-65 Corridor to improve safety, increase capacity, support economic growth, and is critical to quickly and safely allow citizens and visitors to evacuate when needed.  Staff recommends the Commission approve the RFQ and authorize the Purchasing Director to advertise.

 

Previous Commission action/date: 

09/28/2023 meeting:  The Commission approved during the FY 2024 budget for $4.8M of GOMESA funds to be used for this project.
