STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Staff recommends denial of this rezoning application. However, should the Baldwin County Commission pass a motion to approve the rezoning application, staff recommends the Baldwin County Commission adopt Resolution #2025-039, which approves Case No. Z24-43, Wild Property Rezoning, as it pertains to the rezoning of 11 acres, more or less, as located in Planning (Zoning) District 14, from RSF-2, Residential Single Family District, to RR, Rural District.

Background: Reason for replacement item: Staff Recommendation revised
The subject property is currently zoned RSF-2, Residential Single Family District, and is located south of State Highway 104 and east of County Road 49 near the Town of Silverhill. The applicant is requesting to rezone 11 acres of the current property from RSF-2 to RR, Rural District, for an additional commercial building on the property.
The Planning Commission recommended APPROVAL at their November 7, 2024, meeting.
