STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Recommendation
Approve and authorize the Chairman to execute the list of County equipment and vehicles for sale by auction (Exhibit A) at the J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., facility in Montgomery, Alabama, on December 2-3, 2026.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Background: The December Auction Gross Guarantee for County equipment and vehicles is $12,140.00. Per the current contract, there will be a 6% commission deducted from the proceeds.
Previous Commission action/date:
May 5, 2026 - Approved and authorized the Chairman to execute the list of County equipment and vehicles for sale by auction (Exhibit A) at the J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., facility in Montgomery, Alabama, on June 16-18, 2026.
January 20, 2026 - Approved the equipment list for sale by auction (Exhibit A) on March 17-21, 2026.
December 2, 2025 - Approved the Auction Sales Agreement between J.M. Wood Auction Company, Inc., and the BCC, applicable to all departments of the Commission, effective January 1, 2026, to January 1, 2027, with an automatic renewal for an additional two (2) years, in one (1) year increments.
